Everything Education!
Anyone who is going to thrive in business today has to be at least partially focused on education. The business world is changing rapidly and regularly and the only way to keep up is to continuously invest in new education.For some people, a new education means going back to school and getting a new degree. For others, it is more about integrating the learning skills gained through classroom education and using these new skills in a business environment.There is no place that this is truer than in businesses, which work closely with the education market. Any business that serves the needs of teachers, administrators and students is a business that benefits from staying in tune with the changing world of education.
You probably have at least a dozen good reasons for wanting to attend a Florida Golf School. Hopefully most of those are related to your golf instruction and the career that you hope to be able to get after you graduate. However, you should also consider the fact that there are a lot of fun things to do in your off-school hours if you go to school in Florida.
The most obvious choice for extracurricular fun in Florida is to visit the famous theme parks and amusement parks in Orlando. Disney World is a land that is fun for people of all ages. If you’ve never been there, you might not realize that it also includes Animal Kingdom and Epcot Center. Nearby Universal Studios is also sure to keep you entertained with lots of fun.
Once you’ve exhausted the rides and games at those places, though, you should check out some of the other Florida attractions that aren’t to be missed. If you have a long weekend away from the Academy of Golf, take a drive down to the Everglades or the Florida Keys. Go dancing at a nightclub in Miami. Or check out the race tracks of Daytona Beach. We all know the story about "all work and no play" so make sure to have some fun while you’re getting your education.
Technorati Tags: I’ve decided that online education is pretty much made for me. As a freelance writer, my Internet connection is my lifeblood, so I’m always at home on the computer anyway. Adding in a couple of online classes should be pretty easy, so I’m considering getting my masters via an online college.
The online education history hasn’t been a smooth one. I remember when online ed was still kind of frowned on. I guess it still is, but more seldom — most schools are starting to see the light. Many traditional schools have transitioned to a half-online ed setup, offering fully online programs in addition to their normal campus-based degrees.
When I was in college, online education was just starting to generate interest at the traditional schools. As a result, I was able to take maybe a quarter or a third of all my classes online throughout the course of my degree. Some online education participants weren’t even local. Now online classes are even more prevalent, and it’s generally expected that students don’t have to be in the same city, let alone the same state, as the college they are attending.

When you were sorting through schools, you were probably focused on the experience that you would have as a student. For example, you might have decided on a Gibbs College and then tried to decide where Gibbs College Melville in New York or Gibbs College Virginia would provide the right kind of climate and school setting for your college experience.
What happens on the student side of the experience is important. But it might be just as important to consider what’s going on behind the scenes. For example, let’s look behind the scenes at a graphic design program in Detroit. Here are some of the facts that we might learn and how they can impact our choice to attend a particular school.
The instructors have all worked in the graphic design field for over ten years. We know they have experience so we may want to go learn from them.
The school donates money to assist youth in learning technology. This supports something we believe in and encourages us to participate.
The administration uses all eco-friendly products in their offices. We are excited to be part of the green movement so we sign up for classes.
Choosing a school should be based primarily on the experience we expect to have there as students. However, we should also consider the larger impact that attending certain schools may have on the world around us.
Technorati Tags: I’ve been thinking about making a career change, but I’m not sure what I’d be interested in doing, so I’m looking into a bunch of different options. Here are a few that have caught my eye:
Criminal justice careers – These all seem pretty interesting to me, whether it’s working as a corrections officer, police officer, prison guard, or something of the like. Youth Services departments also seem to me like a job I would feel good about doing. And of course, being a private detective sounds like a lot of fun too — working for myself and doing something really interesting! However, I’d need to look into getting a criminal justice degree.
Culinary careers – One of my hobbies is cooking, and it just seems to me like it would be a good idea to turn one of my greatest passions into a source of income. I especially like making goodies like cakes and pastries, so I would probably look into a professional baking and pastry program.
Medical careers – When I was in the hospital, and every time I’ve visited someone in the hospital, I’ve been impressed at how helpful and nice everyone has been. I think I would like a job where I was always helping people to feel better or get well again. There are many medical assistant programs that could give me the training I’d need for a career in the health care industry.
Anyways, these are just a few types of careers that I’m considering. What do you think would be an interesting career to be a part of?
Technorati Tags: I really enjoy working in Internet marketing. I think the principles of marketing are interesting, and I like working with clients to bring about some end result (usually selling a product or generating more website traffic).
Although I’ve learned a lot throughout the course of my career, I didn’t really go to school for marketing. However, I am thinking about going back to school, and marketing is one of the topics I am considering: I want to be able to better help my clients.
There are a lot of schools that offer programs in marketing. In their business administration programs Milwaukee schools such as Sanford Brown teach students about marketing and sales, as well as other things needed to run a business. The Sanford Brown Lauderdale campus and the Sanford Brown Institute White Plains campus both have great business administration programs.
As a copywriter, I have found it very important to know about the various marketing techniques. I would think that the same would be true for anyone in sales, as well as for traditional businesspeople. Not only does knowing about marketing enable you to do your job better, but it also enables you to market yourself to hiring managers, supervisors, and anyone else who has a hand in hiring and promoting you!
